Where are you located? Are there teletherapy options?
I am in Leawood, Kansas for in-person sessions.
(Address provided after confirming appointment.)
I do provide teletherapy options for clients sitting in Kansas using a secure HIPAA compliant platform.
What type of clients do you work with?
I see individuals, couples & families from all backgrounds. I help those experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, relational distress, postpartum, parenting challenges, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and more.
Faith can be integrated if desired.
Do you take insurance?
I am private pay only at the moment.
That said, I offer limited sliding scale options, so please don’t let my fee’s turn you away. Let’s talk and see what we can do to make this possible.
I can provide you with a superbill if you would like. Depending on your insurance, they may reimburse for out-of-network benefits but you will need to check with your insurance provider.
What are your fee’s and form of payment?
Couple’s & Families: $160 per 60 min session
Individuals’s: $130 per 50 min session
I accept cash, ACH bank transfer, most major credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
How long should I expect therapy to last? How often should I come?
Each person, couple and family is different. If you can come weekly that would be ideal and most effective for treatment but I understand that isn’t always possible. Biweekly would be my next suggestion to start.
You are entitled to a good faith estimate if you want and I WANT our time to be effective together! We’ll come up with goals together the first couple of sessions and I can tell you about how long we need based on this.
Do you only work with “little things”? I have been through a lot and would my issues be too much?
You’re never too much. I believe all the little things add up over time in ourselves and in relationships. This phrase has meant a lot to me, and it’s when little things get noticed within ourselves that we can become more of who we are. When little things get missed we can feel unseen and forgotten. There’s a lot of meaning behind “The Little Things Counseling”. I hope you find yourself experiencing what it is to be seen and valued with our time together.
All of this said, there are certain times that clients present with needs outside of my scope, and I will need to refer out. I want you to find the healing you deserve and I would gladly resource you if I am not the counselor for you.
